  • Age: 32

Education:

  • PhD Polymer & Materials Chemistry: University of Toronto, 2019
  • BSc Chemistry: McGill University, 2014

Professional Experience:

  • Lumber Trader: Since 2020, I have been a trader at Tall Tree Lumber, where I’ve gained in-depth knowledge of the market and a broad understanding of lumber products. My experience has also given me firsthand insight into the challenges and friction points that buyers face within the lumber industry.
  • Independent Consultant: My consulting career included consulting and the implementation. Projects include a new volume measurement standard for more than a million cubic yards of mulch per year, new workflow for a remanufacturing plant, and technical fact checking related to biomass pyrolysis.

Personal Interests:

In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, golf, and hockey. I'm also in the process of renovating my house, and I like to work on my cars whenever I get the chance. Additionally, I've taken the opportunity to learn programming and web development as a personal interest.

Mission:

To bring lumber buying into the future.
